Top seeds Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova clinched the women's doubles title in the French Open tennis championships here on Sunday.
The United States-Czech pair tamed unseeded Australians Ashleigh Barty and Casey Dellacqua 6-2, 6-1 in the final.

Stephens, who won her first WTA title at Washington in 2015, fired her sixth ace on her first match-point chance to advance after one hour and 53 minutes.
"I'm sad to announce I won't be coming to Beijing for the China Open this year," Safarova said on Instagram.
